Aphyosemion roloffi Roloff, 1936 b: 324, fig.| Ahl, 1937: 240. (*)The species was dedicated to Roloff by Ahl to which Roloff had sent the types for description, but on account of delays of publication Ahl" s paper was issued after Roloff" s provisional one. Type locality: "40-50 km landeseinwärts Freetown", southern Sierra Leone (8.333°N-13.033°W). Syntypes BMNH n° 1937.6.14: 9-11 and ZMHU n° 21.071 (3).
