Type locality: Burkina Faso, Loagpnolou River, small stream on Mekrou River drainage, Niger River basin, on extreme north of the Atakora mountains in Parc Naturel West, (05°34'N-02°11'03"E). Holotype: MNHN 2013-0695. Paratypes: BMNH 1970.11.6.17-18, MRAC 73.039.P.1609-1610.
