  • Current distribution known : known from Pool Malebo (=Stanley Pool) and from the Lower and Central Congo River basin. Some records have been made of the upper Congo River basin as well. It also occurs in the Lower Guinea region where it is found in the Benito (Equatorial Guinea) and Ogowe (Gabon) Rivers .
