Barbus pseudognathodon Boulenger, 1915 b: 166. Type locality: "Lac Moero". Syntypes MRAC n° 8198 to 8246, 8552 to 8638, 8788 to 8856, 8705 to 8712, 8885 to 8999 and 11.410 to 11.495 (R. Lobo) and BMNH n° 1920.5.26: 32 to 71 (Lake Mweru).
