  • Common names : Parmicka kasaralska (Czech), Kasarala pardkala (Estonian) .
  • Current distribution known : known from Tanzania, Zambia, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo, in waterways around Lake Tanganyika. In central Africa, this species occurs in tributaries of Lake Tanganyika and from Kanonga and the Kufira River. The data of these two latter locations are identified by Max Poll, but have never been published. In eastern Africa, it is found in the tributaries of Lake Tanganyika but never recorded from the lake itself .
