Current distribution known :
widespread throughout Lower Guinea. It is known from southern Cameroon (Dja basin) and forested areas in northern Gabon, and possibly as far north as Tibesti in Chad (although this record needs confirmation). It is also possibly present in Nigeria but this requires confirmation
