Type locality : Ambomboa [Amboaboa] River, a left bank tributary of Mangarahara River, near village of Bekitrobaka, 16-18 kilometers west of Mandritsara, Madagascar (15°50'02"S-48°42'50"E). Holotype AMNH 230358; paratypes AMNH 230359, AMNH 230360-230361, MNHG 2537.54, UMMZ 235210-235211.
