Oreochromis (Alcolapia) ndalalani Seegers & Tichy, 1999: 121, fig. 16-18. Type locality: Olomotony, spring-fed creek, southern affluent of southern Lagoon, north of Ol Donyo Lengai volcano, 3.7 kilometers northeast of Engare Sero River, Ndalanlani, Lake Natron, Tanzania (2°35'55"S-35°54'42"E). Holotype ZMB 32883; paratypes BMNH 1998.4.6:70-83, MRAC 97.099.P.0140-0149, MRAC 97.099.P.0150-0166, RMNH 33471, ZMB 32884-32886, ZMH 9024-9025.
