Schwetzochromis luongoensis Greenwood & Kullander, 1994: 175-179, fig. 6, 7. Type locality: Northern Province, Congo River drainage, Luongo River, Zambia. Collected by Balon E.K. & Stewart D.J. in 1970, exact locality and date not recorded, probably locality 4: Luongo River above the mouth of its right tributary, Chamwishitu. Holotype ROM 65367; paratypes BMNH 1992.11.17:2, ROM 28938, ROM 31798, ROM 28021.
