Current distribution known : endemic to Nigeria where it is found in the eastern part of the Niger River delta and in the area between the delta and the Lower Cross River, southeastern Nigeria .
Ecology : not a seasonal killifish .

Habitat / home range : inhabits small rivers, creeks and swamps, usually among bordering vegetation .
