Habitat / home range :
it is an euryecic fish with a wide range of habitats and food. It occurs predominantly at depths between 2.5 and 4.5 m. At several localities the species seems to prefer the shallower shores, preferably with rocks, although rocks seem not to be a prerequisite for its presence
