Current distribution known : Lower Zambezi and southwards in the lower parts of the Sabi, Lundi, Pungwe and Buzi Rivers. Also, in Ruvuma River on the Tanzanian-Mozambique border, from the Upper Ruvuma to Kionga at the mouth; Lake Rutumba, Lupululu system, and the Lupuledi west of Lindi .
