Current distribution known : coastal rivers of Kenya from the Mwena River near the Tanzania border to the lower Athi (Sabaki or Galana) below Lugard"s Falls, pools and lakes in the Athi floodplain and coastal lagoons near its mouth, including the warm and saline Lake Chem Chem; Lower and middle Tana River, Northern Uaso Nyiro, Juba system and Webi Shebeli; Nguruman (southern Uaso Nyiro). Probably also in Lake Momello, south of the Kenya-Tanzania border .
Size : 192 mm SL .
