  • Current distribution known : distributed throughout much of the Indo-west Pacific, purportedly even entering the southeasternmost Atlantic Ocean marginally at the Cape of Good Hope. Well-documented collections of this species have been made from southern Africa east to Palau, northwest to northern Taiwan and southeast to Fiji .
