Reproduction :
the reproduction period in Lake Victoria is from September to February, although some reproduction occurs at lower levels throughout the year. Mature ovaries are seen in summer and there is a simple long breeding season, extending from March to September. In Lake Nasser, spawning nests were seen in shallow waters in sandy bottom or rocks
