  • Current distribution known : in central Africa it is known from the Ubangui River basin, Central Congo River basin. It is also known from the Cross and Sanaga River basins in Cameroon. The identification of collections from the upper Koto River drainage (Ubangi tributary, middle Congo River basin) in Central Africa Republic need confirmation. In western Africa it is known from Guinea to Nigeria. This species has a wide distribution area, since it is known from the Sahelian as well as from coastal basins .
