Common names : Starhead killi (English), Kääpiöviiripyrstö (Finnish), Zwerg-Prachtkärpfling ( German) .
Current distribution known : Alima and Likouala Rivers in Republic of Congo, as well as in Pool Malebo. Reports from other localities (eg Ruki, middle Congo near Kisangani or Lualaba River) are probably misidentifications .
