Current distribution known : known from the Lufira River, from Lubumbashi, Kilobilobe River and the Koki River, from upper Congo River basin .
Habitat / home range : inhabits fairly shallow water (Bell-Cross and Minshull 1988). It occurs over sand, usually buried with just the eyes protruding .
Size : 45 mm TL .
