Common names : Parmicka Raimbaultova (Czech), Raimbaulti pardkala (Estonian) .
Current distribution known : known from the type locality (a tributary of the Bafing River, Senegal River system) and from the Niandan of the upper Niger in Guinea. However, this species is likely to be more widespread in similar habitats in the upper Senegal and Niger drainages .
