Common names : Parma kokinska (Czech), Laikoon-pardkala (Estonian) .
Current distribution known : recorded from Usumbura and Uvira, Lake Tanganyika and from the Koki River, a tributary of Lake Tanganyika. Probably rare in the lake and more common in the tributaries .
Habitat_references : occurs near the shores of Lake Tanganyika, but rare in Lake Tanganyika, more common in affluent rivers .
Size : 400 mm SL .
