Tyep locality: Majita, Tanganyika territory (Majita Bay, Lake Victoria, halfway along the line between Musoma and Ukerewe Island, Tanzania (about 0°48'S-33°30'E). Holotype BMNH 1956.10.9:45; paratypes BMNH 1956.10.9:46-54, BMNH 1956.10.9:55.
