Current distribution known :
known from the immediate vicinity of the village of Maromandia. Specimens that appear to be referable to this species have also been collected to the south of the Andranomalaza-Manongarivo drainage basin, from both the Maevarano River and Lake Andrapongy, a shallow floodplain lake located within the Ankofia River drainage basin
