    • Monopterus luticolus Britz, Doherty-Bone, Kouete, Sykes & Gower, 1922: 312-317, fig. 1, 2. Type locality: Mundame, along river Mungo, near Kumba, dug up from sandy soil in farmland with banana and cocoyam crops and tree ferns and palm trees, Cameroon (4°33'N-9°31'E).
