S. of Kawambwa, Zambia, midstream between two barriers width 8-15 m, muddy bottom, average depth 1,5 m. Holotype ROM n° 28.035; paratypes ROM n° 30.518 (11) MRAC n° 74-36-P-1-4 (4), BMNH n° 1975.2.14: 11-13 (3).
