Current distribution known : found on the slopes of the southern Cameroon Plateau between the Nyong and the Sanaga Rivers. The present distribution is probably relict .
Ecology : not a seasonal killifish .
Food habits : ants and other insects .
Genetics : Scheel, 1981 b .
Habitat / home range : occurs in the quiet parts of rainforest brooks .
Reproduction : laying adhesive egg on aquatic plants and roots; 3 weeks incubation .
