Type locality: "Wassertümpel im Akazieenbusch zwischen Tisso in Nord Ugogo und Usandawi", between the present villages Itiso and Kwa Mtoro, most probably west of Mbuyuni, central Tanzania (± 05° 26Ž S-35° 51Ž E). Syntypes ZMHU n° 13.545 and BMNH n° 1905.7.25: 54-56 (3).
