Colour pattern : Sparks, 2003 .
Current distribution known : endemic to northwestern Madagascar. It is known from the Mananjeba River southwards to the Anjingo River .
Habitat / home range : recorded in the middle reaches of the Anjingo river. The flowing water was clear, the river bottom was dominated by sand. Also sampled from a small lake and marsh. The water was turbid and the bottom was muddy .
Size : 32 mm SL .
