Garra hindii (Boulenger, 1905) Recherche rapide

Attributs

  • DISTRIBUTION: Lien Faunafri
  • Common names : Hinde'i napploug (Estonian) .
  • Current distribution known : literature suggests that this species is widely distributed in Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, and the River Congo basin. However, in view of the high endemicity generally reported for Garra species, a large country distribution as currently suggested in the literature for this species is highly unlikely. Accordingly, we consider this species to be limited to the type locality in Kenya (head waters of Ewaso Ngiro River), and the records from the south (River Athi system) are considered uncertain .
